Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026 · LICHFIELD SUSHI LTD
These terms govern your use of lichsush.shop and any purchase from LICHFIELD SUSHI LTD. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
lichsush.shop is operated by LICHFIELD SUSHI LTD, trading as Makisu, registered in the United Kingdom at 8 Leighton Close, B43 7HY, United Kingdom. Contact: support@lichsush.shop.
2. What we sell
We sell kitchen tools, ceramic tableware and shelf-stable, alcohol-free pantry food for making sushi and related dishes at home. We do not sell fresh or chilled seafood, live seafood, or any product containing alcohol. Where a recipe uses raw fish, you source and handle it yourself to your local food-safety standards.
3. Food safety and your responsibility
Our guides recommend using sashimi-grade fish, keeping a cold chain, separating raw and cooked ingredients and eating promptly. You are responsible for the safety of any fresh ingredients you buy and prepare yourself. We are not liable for the outcome of ingredients you source and handle outside our supply.
4. Allergens
Food items list their allergens on the product page and on an ingredients sheet included in the box. Common allergens include soy, sesame, gluten and fish. Our facility handles these ingredients, so we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact. If you have a serious allergy, please read labels carefully before use.
5. Sharp tools and age
Some kits contain sharp knives. These are flagged, sold for adult use and must be stored safely away from children. Accounts are not available to under-13s; customers aged 13–17 require a parent or guardian's consent. We do not market knife products to children. The Kids' First Sushi Kit contains only rounded, child-safe tools.
6. No medical or nutritional claims
Our products and content are for home cooking and enjoyment. We make no medical, weight-loss or therapeutic claims. Recipe content is general information, not nutritional or medical advice.
7. Pricing, orders and payment
All prices are in US Dollars (USD). We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract forms when we confirm dispatch. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
8. Membership
Makisu Roll Club is an optional subscription providing discounts and service perks only. It carries no points, no stored value and no carry-over between billing periods. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade or cancel it at any time through your billing portal. Annual plans are billed as twelve months at a discount.
9. Returns and consumer rights
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Our returns terms are set out in the Refund & Returns Policy. Food that has been opened cannot be returned for safety reasons unless it was faulty or damaged on arrival.
10. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may not misuse the site or its content. All brand names, text, images and designs are owned by us or our licensors. See our Acceptable Use and Content License policies.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for misuse of sharp tools or for ingredients you source yourself.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
